Hello, Tipey Joa would like to thank you for listening to our work.

We are proud to announce that Tipey Joa Native Warriors is an independent 501(c)3 Organization!

Tipey Joa Native Warriors is a binational, Indigenous-led nonprofit dedicated to the preservation and revitalization of Indigenous communities. The organization is proudly guided by an all-Indigenous, all-women Board of Directors, centering ancestral knowledge, community leadership, and intergenerational resilience.

Tipey Joa Native Warriors addresses inequalities both north and south of the US/Mexico border

Tipey Joa Native Warriors works to address systemic inequities experienced by Indigenous communities across the United States and along both sides of the U.S.–Mexico border. Our work is grounded in the understanding that Indigenous peoples, regardless of location, face shared challenges shaped by historical and ongoing injustices.

Through years of direct engagement, Tipey Joa has witnessed how many tribal communities, experience limited economic infrastructure, housing disparities, food insecurities, and barriers to accessing basic human services. These conditions contribute to ongoing vulnerabilities that impact community health, stability, and cultural continuity.

For nearly 20 years, Tipey Joa has helped bridge these gaps by providing resources, support, and advocacy to our relatives in need, regardless of geographic boundaries. Our commitment is rooted in kinship, reciprocity, and collective care for Indigenous peoples everywhere.

As Tipey Joa has expanded as a nonprofit organization, we have strengthened cross-collaboration not only with tribal communities, but also through partnerships with aligned organizations, institutions, and allies. This work is guided by a holistic commitment to environmental stewardship and justice, cultural preservation, social justice, and the protection of Indigenous lands, knowledge, and ways of life..
